The Intercessory Prayer Team reminds everyone that prayer cards are available in the pews and throughout the church.  Please drop your prayer requests in the boxes located in the front of the Sanctuary, the table by the Fisherman’s Room and in the Family Life Center.

 

An Administrative Board Meeting is scheduled for    September 2nd at 7 pm.

 

The Finance Committee will meet today at 3pm.

 

The Youth Group will be meeting on Sunday evenings,  5 - 6pm.

All change in the offering plate goes to support our youth. 

 

Greeters and Ushers are needed.  Please contact Lane Watkins at 867-2751 if you would be willing the serve in this important role of welcoming our  congregation on Sundays.

 

You are invited to Get Swept Away by Your Faith   during our 2010 Sunday School Kick-Off breakfast on Sunday, September 12th at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center.  This is the beginning of a new and wonderful Sunday School year at our church.  All are welcome, including past, present and new  attendees.  Please feel free to invite friends, family or community members you think would be interested in coming.  The kick-off will include a tasty meal, a brief explanation of each class and a devotional.  Never attended a class?  Now is the time to get more information and try it out!  Sunday School classes include Agape,   Fisherman’s, Wesleyan, Pathfinder (young adult), Teen, Pre-teen, Preschool, and Nursery.  This year's teachers are      Loretha Ray, Joan Irons, Judy Crane, Richard Ray,  Margaret Samons, Sharon Caldwell, Mary Cesceline, Barbara McGinnis and Lowell Rush.
